Prizes Overwhelming

Welcome back runners and walkers. After the lockdown lull, we have some good news. Buddywalk is offering age group prizes for their 2021 virtual event. That’s right, the top 3 male and female participants in the Under 19, 20-29. 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+ age categories will walk away with a hamper or voucher from their corporate sponsors. How’s that for a little extra motivation? Dust out the sneakers and prepare for a PR effort to get on the podium. Registration ends on November 30th so sign up today!

Continuing with the theme of FREE, the good folks at the Environmental Management Authority joined forces with Bafasports to bring to you the iCARE BIN2WIN Challenge. Tons of prizes up for grabs…but here is the catch, you must include a photo of their recycling bins with your run. Luckily, a nifty google map is provided to help you locate a bin close to you (they are all over the country!). 4 Distances are included in the challenge, 1 Mile, 5K, 10K and 15K. Happy hunting!

100,000 KM UPDATE!

Together the community did it. 30,000 km in races to unlock the final grand prize from Montrichard Ltd. The lucky runner to walk away with the grand prize is Zachary Charran. He earned his entries on the leaderboard through tackling the Magnificent 70 Stollmeyer’s Castle 10K.  An avid runner, Zachary covers a range of distances from the 5K straight up to full marathon.

Well that’s it for this Runners Radar update. For any issues feel free to email your friendly neighborhood Bafasports administrator or whatsapp message 283-1365. Happy to help.
