SECTION 19 – EVENT DISCLAIMER
By my registration for an event, I acknowledge that a road race is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason what so ever. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effect of the weather, traffic and the conditions of the road. Having read this waiver, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Bafasports, all event sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of the event for any purpose. There are no refunds but if you no longer wish to participate, a coupon will be provided for you which does not expire. Note, the registered participant must complete the indicated distance on race day to earn the finisher’s medal.

SECTION 21 – MONETARY PRIZES
Prizes of any cash value shall be paid via electronic bank transfer to the winners. If the winner is not in possession of a bank account, he or she can provide the account of another person and authorize the transfer to be sent there instead.
